I feel like such a waste when I have so much knowledge, and not to mention just to have lived with this disease so long I should be doing some kind of work if it’s education or cleaning someone’s house for them or cooking a hot meal. I have always wanted to be involved. I feel that only someone who has lived with it can know what the needs of PWA’s are. I would be a wealth of information. My Dr. (Dr. Jimmy Acklin) said that out of my refusal to take meds in the earlier years, and that I have done so well (14 years and still just HIV without meds) that he has since started treating his patients differently. I have been at the front of this battle since I was 18, now I am 33 and I know that I am supposed to be helping and loving other PWA’s. Please help me find something in the Fort Smith area.
